Father

When did you last talk with your father? Will you ever ask him about those things that hurt you?
In 'Father' the reality of life is turned upside down to create an impossible dialogue - the dialogue between a child and a father that never happens.

'Father' is an animated-documentary based on five true stories. Conceived as an animation-documentary experiment, which included six directors from four different countries, each with individual visual approach, coached by the British filmmaker Phill Mulloy and produced as a co-production between Bulgaria, Croatia and Germany.

'Father' had a great festival life and was screened at +150 International Animation and Film festivals around the world, including some of the major festivals as Annecy International Animation Film Festival, Animafest Zagreb, Stuttgart Festival of Animated Film, DOK Leipzig International Festival, Clermont Ferrand International Short Film Festival, London International Animation Festival, Cinanima International Animated Film Festival and Chicago International Children’s Film Festival.

The film received 26 Awards, among which Golden Dove Award for Animated Film from DOK Leipzig and 1st Prize for Animated Documentary Film from Chicago International Children's Film Festival. Here is the full list of awards:
